The wish of the client was to create a seating area in the garden in front of her house.
In the shade of the imposing walnut tree, a place to linger would be created between the main house and the extension perpendicular to it. In addition, the stairs to the entrance area on the lower ground floor were to be redesigned and a ramp added.
Folding, intersecting and cutting created a staircase and ramp system made of precast concrete elements. The chestnut wood deck marks the place to linger. Equipped with a set of garden furniture, the terrace is bordered on the north side by a slightly raised flower bed. To the east, the walnut tree protects the area.
